Lucky Punch Megaways
Lucky Punch Megaways is a medium volatile boxing slot from Onlyplay, and the dynamic grid tops out at 5x6 reels with 7,776 ways to win. Wilds can appear on the 3 middle reels only, and all wilds that land become sticky in the bonus round. You can win up to 1,877x your stake, and you can check our full review below the free demo game.
Lucky Punch Megaways Review
If basic Megaways installments are your thing, well, you can’t really go wrong with what Onlyplay churns out on a regular basis these days. Lucky Punch Megaways is another sports-themed installment, and it’s basically a reskin of their previous Liga Fortune Megaways PRO (which was a watered down version of the original Liga Fortune Megaways). The dynamic grid is placed in the middle of the boxing ring, and it looks kind of small for a Megaways release.
You get some decent boxing animations whenever the premium symbols are involved in a win, and wilds are there to help you out on the 3 middle reels. The wilds become sticky when they appear in the bonus round, and there is nothing much else going on. This is yet another head-scratcher from Onlyplay, and we have no idea how they think a game like this can compete with the average Megaways installment.
Lucky Punch Megaways Slot Features
The premium symbols, consisting of 3 different fighters, pay between 3 and 5 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins. Wild symbols can appear on reels 2, 3, and 4 only, and wilds step in for pay symbols to help complete and/or improve wins.
You need 3+ golden glove scatter symbols in view to trigger the Bonus Round, and this awards 10 free spins. You win +5 extra spins each time you land 3+ glove scatters during the feature, and all wild symbols that appear become sticky during the bonus round. The wilds will change size as the number of symbols vary per reel per spin.

Review Summary
Onlyplay has released what amounts to the strangest Megaways installments in the history of online slots, and Lucky Punch Megaways is not even an original effort. The boxing theme is somewhat original, of course, but this is basically a reskin of Liga Fortuna Megaways PRO. People associate the Megaways engine with “bigger and bolder”, but this is hardly the case with this developer. You get only up to 7,776 ways to win, and Onlyplay is not exactly generous when it comes to features either.
Each boxer shows off some moves when part of a winning combo, but overall the visuals are not all that engaging. The ring is empty except for the small megaways grid, with silhouettes of the audience in the backdrop. You get wild symbols to help you out in the base game, and nothing else, and the wilds become sticky in the bonus round. There really should be a worst slot of the year award in addition to best slot of the year, and Lucky Punch Megaways would be a strong contender.
