Cash 'N Riches Megaways

Cash 'N Riches Megaways Review

If winning all the cash and riches you can dream of makes you as superficial, slick and shallow as this Triple Edge Studios release, well, then it kind of defeats the purpose. The theme is a mix of disco lights and wealth, perfectly exemplified by the transparent disco ball filled with cash on the left-hand side. This is where your cash clip wilds are collected, which eventually leads to a Pick ‘Em Jackpot Game where 1 of 4 jackpots is guaranteed.

The generic vibe is oozing out of every pore of Cash 'N Riches Megaways, and there is nothing new to see here unless you’re completely green to the online casino scene. The funky upbeat soundtrack is perhaps the best thing about this installment, but that’s not saying all that much. The Rolling Reels progressive multiplier keeps building to unknown heights in the bonus round, like you might be used to, and this can award payouts up to 18,163x your stake.

Cash 'N Riches Megaways Slot Features

The premium gemstone symbols pay between 2 and 50 x your stake for 6 of a kind wins, and the money clip Wild can slide in on the top horizontal reel only. The wild steps in for all regular pay symbols to help complete winning combinations, and it holds no value of its own.

The Rolling Reels mechanic removes winning symbols from the grid, and this allows new and/or existing symbols to drop down to fill the gaps. This indefinite winning streak process goes on until you land a non-winning cascade, and then you’ll have to pay for the next spin to start the process anew.

All wilds that appear are collected in the transparent cash-filled disco ball up to the left, and whenever this happens you may trigger the Jackpot Pick Game. Your chances accumulate over time, as more wilds are collected, and the Pick Game is all about matching 3 jackpot symbols to win the corresponding prize. The Mini, Minor, Major and Mega jackpots pay 15x, 50x, 100x and 5,000x your stake, respectively.

The Bonus Round triggers when you land 4 scatters that spell out “C-A-S-H”, and this gives you 12 free spins. Any extra scatters on top of that awards +5 extra spins on top of the original amount. The progressive bonus round win multiplier starts at x1, and increases by +1 per Rolling Reels win. The multiplier does not reset between free spins, and you win 5 or 10 extra spins when 3 or 4 scatters appear in the top reel, respectively.

The 200 Spins Cash 'N Riches Megaways Slot Experience

We grinded along in the base game for a while, with smaller wins here and there, and then we landed 3 scatters. We got teaser-animations on each cascade that followed, and the bonus round finally triggers around the 2-minute mark. The feature plays out for the remainder of the 4:50-minute highlights video, and you can check it all out by hitting the play button below.

Review Summary

The glossy disco wealth theme didn’t exactly make a strong first impression, but it does represent this superficial installment in a close to perfect way. Cash 'N Riches Megaways offers nothing new, and it’s basically a mash-up of common dynamic reels engine elements wrapped in a cheap-looking shiny facade. On top of that, the winning symbols take too long to explode, making the pace annoyingly slow even with the turbo switched on.

The jackpot pick ‘em game is a decent touch though, since it gives you somewhat of a motivation to carry on. It’s hardly enough to attract a massive following however, and you need the progressive multiplier bonus round to close in on the £363,278 win cap. Overall, a very unmemorable experience that comes with the personality of Iron Dog’s VIP Branded Megaways concept, and it’s also pretty much a reskin of Ancient Fortunes: Poseidon Megaways.

If you enjoy Cash 'N Riches Megaways Slot you should also try:

VIP Branded Megaways - is an Iron Dog innovation, if we can call it that, and it basically allows casinos to reskin and brand the dynamic reels engine slot as they see fit. The generic theme is quite similar to the one at hand though, and you’ll benefit from multiplying multiplier wilds and a bonus round with 7-row locks mechanic. The volatility is high, and you can win up to 40,000x your stake.

Ancient Fortunes Poseidon Megaways - is another Triple Edge Studios dynamic reels engine installment, and it’s among their most successful releases so far. You get Rolling Reels and a wild collection system here as well, which can trigger the jackpot game for prizes up to 5,000x. The unlimited win multiplier in the bonus round can lead to payouts up to 10,000x your stake.

Break Da Bank Again Megaways - is Gameburger’s dynamic reels installment in partner Microgaming’s classic money-themed series, and it comes with x5 boosted wild wins. The bonus round multiplier increases per Rolling Reels win, and this can lead to payouts up to 24,185x your stake.
